SAVE THE ANIMALS!

 Hello, boys and girls! 😍

As you know, for our APS project, we are going to do a small investigation about animals that are in danger of extinction.

In Spanish class, you have one animal. You need to look for:

- What is it?

- Its characteristics

- What it eats

Now, you need to look for the same information at home, but in English. Remember to bring a photo or a drawing of your animal too.

We will work on this in class on Tuesday, January 20th.

Como ya sabéis, dentro de nuestro proyecto APS, vamos a hacer una pequeña investigación sobre animales que están en peligro de extinción.

En la asignatura de Lengua se os ha asignado un animal y tenéis que buscar:

- Qué es

- Sus características

- Qué come

Ahora, desde la asignatura de Inglés, debéis buscar en casa la misma información, pero en inglés. Y recordad traer también una foto o un dibujo de vuestro animal. 

Lo trabajaremos en clase el martes 20 de enero.

Today in our English class, we are learning about Christmas traditions around the world 🌍🎅.

We watched a video about how people celebrate Christmas in countries like Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, the Philippines, Sweden, Japan, Australia and Taiwan.

🏠 HOME TASK: For homework, each student has to:

✔️ Look for a little information at home about Christmas in one country.

• JAPAN: Yanira, Julia, Oliver, Teo.

• GERMANY: Elena, José, Noelia, Gabriela.

• MEXICO: Hugo, Dylan, Jafet, Ariadna.

• UNITED STATES: Miguel, Samuel, Mario, Evangeline.

✔️ Bring the information to class next Thursday. It can be written, printed or with drawings.

You can help your child look for:

• 1 or 2 Christmas traditions.

• Something typical (food, decoration, celebration…).

• The flag of the country.

Please keep it simple and short 😊.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 IN CLASS: Next Thursday, the children will:

• Work in groups.

• Share their information.

• Make a big poster together.
  👉 Each group must bring one poster.

• Do a short oral presentation in English.

Hoy en la clase de inglés hemos visto algunas tradiciones navideñas alrededor del mundo 🌍🎅.

Para ello, hemos visto un vídeo sobre cómo se celebra la Navidad en países como Canadá, Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Alemania, México, Filipinas, Suecia, Japón, Australia y Taiwán.

🏠 TAREA PARA CASA: Como tarea, cada alumno/a tiene que:

✔️ Buscar en casa un poco de información en inglés sobre la Navidad en un país.

• JAPÓN: Yanira, Julia, Oliver, Teo.

• ALEMANIA: Elena, José, Noelia, Gabriela.

• MÉXICO: Hugo, Dylan, Jafet, Ariadna.

• ESTADOS UNIDOS: Miguel, Samuel, Mario, Evangeline.

✔️ Traer la información a clase el próximo jueves. Puede ser escrita, impresa o con dibujos.

Podéis ayudarlos buscando por ejemplo:

• 1 o 2 tradiciones navideñas.

• Algo típico (comida, decoración, celebración…).

• La bandera del país.

Por favor, que sea algo sencillo y corto 😊.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 EN CLASE: El próximo jueves, el alumnado:

• Trabajará en grupos.

• Compartirá su información.

• Hará un póster grande con la información traída.
  👉 Cada grupo debe traer una cartulina.

• Realizará una pequeña presentación oral en inglés.
